Events

For the 7th year running the Northampton Triathlon will be hosted at Grendon Lakes and will comprise of both a sprint and olympic distance event.

The swim takes place in the clear wakeboarding lake and precedes a short run to transition.  It’s then onto the bike course, where the cycle route takes competitors through some stunning Northamptonshire villages and countryside. Grendon, Easton Maudit, Yardley Hasting, Castle Ashby and Bozeat are all on the race route and provide competitors with some rolling terrain, whether you are competing in the sprint or the olympic distance race.

Back at the Lakes, competitors complete either 2 or 4 laps (5 or 10k respectively) and unlike the bike course, the run is pancake flat.

Whilst we can’t guarantee you’ll do a fast time, we’re pretty sure you’ll have a great race and enjoy a great venue and atmosphere. And by the time the first competitor is finished, the bar should be open.
